We here at Middlesex Street Estate are working to drag The City of London into the 21st Century. They have recognised residents have the right to receive communication electronically. We still seek they stop using PDF for 'technical' documentation.
As you can see, they will be videoing our Open Meeting. Something absolutely necessary due to their inability to take proper minutes.

Why can't we have meetings on GLE recorded on video and posted online?
It would be great use for OAPs disabled and people who cannot attend, there would be no need to rely on inaccurate or censored minutes.

Well, the draft rules say you have to request it a week in advice. I issued a permanent notice for our meetings. Let me know when your meeting is, I would like to be there again.

May I ask if it was the City of London who said they would record this open meeting due to their 'inability' to take proper minutes? I hardly think they would admit to having any inabilities in the first place. Have they given any reason why they will be filming this meeting?
I notice they say they have the copyright to the video.
Andrew, when you say you would like to be at our next meeting 'again', what meeting of ours did you attend?

Our response (They are not best pleased we are able to edit PDF documents.)
They are filming it because we have insisted they change their policies. It has been quite a battle.
We complain about no minutes at all and inaccurate notes. They refuse to take minutes as an Open Meeting is not a consultation.
I was at your last Open Meeting, met Nathan and others. Noted Jacquie Campbell treats you with more respect than they do MSE, even allowing meeting to go past 21:00, when ours have to finish on time.
