Looking through posts on this forum it is clear that several residents have issues with the Estate Office and Corporation.

While expressing your views I would ask you to remember that it is the World Wide Web accessible to all and consider the consequences of public announcement of issues that impact on security of the estate.

Earlier this year crime increased after a person gave information about defective doors on this forum. Once again information has been posted about a defective door.

Please report these faults directly to the Estate Office as requested in the leaflets that police officers recently delivered to your flats and stickers placed on entrance doors.

If any residents have issues with the Estate Office, and the Corporation then it is their right to express it.

It is very important that our Estate is protected by proper working security doors, and it is not wise to advertise information about defective doors, for obvious reasons.  Equally, it is important that the Corporation act very quickly on reports of any defective doors in the first place, which, it appears from some reports that they have not done so.  If they had, then there might not have been an increase in crime, as has been suggested.  We, as residents, know we should report any issues to the Estate Office in the first instance.

I have also pointed out that some residents allow people into the blocks they do not know, and that is still continuing. Therefore, they are also to blame for any lack of security.  I, personally, have suffered some thefts from the roof garden I tend to, and it is vital that there are no continuing faults with security doors, and that residents do not let anyone in to the block that are strangers to them.
