The GLERA AGM is on the 20th June and as usual all the Committee are up for election. As the current chair I am keen to get as many people from all parts of the Estate involved as possible. It would be especially good if we could get more tenants involved.

If you are interested in helping and would like to know more about what it involves please get in touch with me at chair.glera@gmail.com.

Are you looking for Corporation tenants or private tenants?

Hi Iain.  GLERA are looking for Corporation tenants, on Golden Lane Estate.

Hi Everyone,
I have just noticed a small article in City Matters newspaper about the GLERA AGM. It purports to quote me and while the quote is not particularly controversial I would like to clarify that I have never spoken to the paper.

It also talks about a "shake up of personnel" which does not reflect the situation where anyone who wants to stand for committee is very welcome to do so including the current members.

Tim
Hi Iain,
Although we are keen to have more Council tenants on Committee everyone is welcome to stand.

Tim

Oooops.  Just read your reply.  Too late, as I saw your leaflet requiring applications by 5/5.

I'm a private tenant yet again, by the way.  (Hoping endlessly to become a freeholder of the Hatfield wedge....LOL)

That's great Christo!

If I get re elected on the Committee I would be so pleased to see you there too, as more tenants are needed on GLERA.  Also, I think you have a strong 'spirit', which is also important!

Thanks Maria

Have handed 'application' form in; do I now send someone a few lines about reasons for standing?

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Will you be at the meeting? If not you can send them to me and I will read out.

Tim

Hi Tim

Am away for the AGM so will send you a few lines.

Nick.
