Hi Nathan.  I was informed by the Estate Office that the 'holes' would be filled in and the lawn shortly reopened.  This worries me.  Nobody can be sure there are not further holes waiting to give way, and possibly causing injury to someone.  The only safe way forward is to keep the lawn closed and completely resurface the whole area, and relay new grass.  Then, the sensible thing to do would be to do as much as possible to ensure that the lawn is not used by the public, which, over a long period of time, has contributed to the damage caused by misuse of people who do not even live on our Estate. We are supposed to be a Private Estate.  We have had excess rubbish left in the bins, including pizza boxes etc, and lots of cigarette butts littered over the lawn, as well as other discarded left overs from the public's lunches, and surrounding concrete area.  We, as residents, have to pay for the public to use our lawn as a 'park'.  The Estate management have ignored all warnings about this issue, and now we see the result of that.  It is so sad to see how run down this area, and our whole Estate has become.
