The City of London are looking for people to take part in the Listed Building Management working party for the Golden Lane Estate.

If anyone is interested in joining the group they can get further information from Karen Tarbox by email at karen.tarbox@cityoflondon.gov.uk

Thanks for that Bill.

Perhaps the first point on the agenda of this working party should be the removal of those unsightly banners that cover the community centre................. in breach of the lease.

Could not agree more Roberto!

Am surprised the City of London are actually wanting residents to take part in this. Does that mean our views will, at last be listened to on this issue, when we cannot, at present, virtually improve anything in our homes without lengthy investigations by the Planning Department, and detailed drawings etc, and waiting weeks for a decision?  One would think we were living in something like St Paul's Cathedral.  I notice the COL had no difficulty in making radical changes to the Guildhall, a much older building than our Estate!

Oh dear here we go again.

I wrote to Ms Tarbox asking for details.  No reply yet!

I met her on Saturday and expressed my interest in the scheme.
