Thanks Jax, glad you had a good day. Hopefully others did too.

I was more than happy to help out but residents came together on the day to make it happen.

I think going for bigger and better next time would be great. Lots of potential to promote it widely and maybe get the Barbican on board too. Now the tables are there to use it will be really easy to organise.

Some ideas that residents have mentioned to me include:

• Bolting it one to another event such as when there are open flats or something with the city of London Open Spaces.

• Promoting really widely with a big online presence - what about being listed in Time Out: 'Golden Lane Flea Market'?

• Having more other things going on like the music, face-painting, games, raffle....

Perhaps these have been done at previous Market Days but they were a few things mentioned to me .My time working with Golden Lane residents is up in a few weeks but I'd definitely come along to another Market Day as a punter if there was one in the future.
