There's some cheap plastic signs that have gone up in Cullum Welch House saying "Cullum Welch House Second Floor' etc, not sure if they are anywhere else?
Who order and specced these? What's the point of them? There's already cast iron signs which were designed by the architects. These new signs are totally out of place, ugly, not in keeping, and just add visual noise.
Anyone know anything more about them?

Can we take out an ASBO on the Corporation for Visual Noise Nuisance and a failure to adhere to agreed behavioural rules (i.e. listed building requirements)?
Let's all paint our front doors different colours and see how long it takes them to realise it and acknowlege the rules apply equally. ;-)
I'm still reeling over my latest projected service charge bill.
Hi Stefi
We also have them in Crescent House. Small little things, hidden behind the lifts. I don't see the point of them either. When the contractors came round to put them up, I was looking to see what was going on, and was given a 'dirty' look by one of them! Charming. Don't mind me. I only live here.
Jean, don't tempt me. Would love to paint my front door a different colour, to the dreary one we have. Not that anything round here gets painted at all.

Hi Maria Elisabeth. The recent service charge prediction suggests painting is due, but then it does read 'making good' rather than 'repaint' which fills me with dread. If painted properly it ought to last - the current state of the paintwork is shockingly bad. I'm also dreading the concrete repairs. How long we'll have to live in a giant butterfly net until done, however, is anyone's guess.
Hi Jean. I totally agree with you about the current state of the paintwork. It seems to be falling off everywhere. Am grateful I have so many plants to disguise a lot of it around my flat!
As for all that netting on your block, I was wondering what that was all about, and when it would be rectified. I feel for you. It looks awful. What has happened to our Estate?

Great idea Stefi - I am definitely up for helping you with this.
