Middlesex Street Estate Open Meeting 22nd October 2014 Video

I attended your meeting of the 4th November. I noticed you had a similar problem to us! Residents saying they were told things that did not then happen. Here, you would be charged £15 a month to use the estate Leisure Centre. We had this happen so often, as they refused to minute the meeting, we encourage the City of London to change their policy and to video the meetings.

A direct example in this video, is us being told the cost of prospective estate Spots Centre to be £10.

I am still confused Andrew.  You said several times that Damien attended a Committee meeting, but now say he did not.  Is that correct?  So, what meeting did he exactly attend?  You say you are the Secretary of the Middlesex Estate Residents' Association, which I believe has now been disbanded, so are you now simply posting as a resident on this forum?

You confusion is intentional.

I often video committee meetings of disbanded residents' associations and post them on YouTube.

My question was, as your Residents' Association has been disbanded, then are you now posting as a resident for Middlesex Street?  And, regarding Damien, could you clarify the position, in order to clear up any confusion.  And, you say you video and post disbanded residents' associations on YouTube. Why would you want to do that?  I am sorry, but that sounds a very strange thing to do.

Anyway, its very late, so I bid you a good night.  I will draw the Committee's attention to your posts, especially concerning Damien's 'experience', which am sure will be helpful to all concerned.

Please do, but I doubt Damien will ever come to your Residents' Meeting again.

I come to your City of London Open Meetings, to see the difference in the way they treat you and us. Interesting, they told you about the  CCTV timetable, when they tried to avoid discussing it with us, not two weeks earlier. Perhaps because they made a complete mess of ours, only partially reconnecting it when they created the library.

If Damien is not a resident of Golden Lane, but you say he attended a Committee meeting, which you then changed to a Residents' meeting, then I presume he was invited to attend?  Residents' meetings on Golden Lane address the interests of its residents only.  However, on occasions we do have guest speakers.

The Open Meetings, which I think you mean the ones chaired by Jacquie Campbell, on this Estate, are there for our residents. There are also guest speakers who make a contribution.  I believe Middlesex Street Estate have the same such meetings.
