I respond as a resident to your questionnaire.
Community Centre:
Are you refering to the Ralph Perrin Centre or to the Social Club?
Any restriction on the sale of alcohol is likely to reduce income further and to make the facilty less viable.
I suspect there are enough educational centres and bespoke leisure facilities already available in the area and none of these are overflowing.  
Can I offer to turn it into a private residence for myself with public open days to view my collection of paintings subject to an agreement that I can store my classic motorcycle securely and in a weatherproof environment?
Estate improvement ideas:
A jet wash concrete cleaning programme with casual staff employment/ voluntary workers to gradually and continually return the estate to pristine condition?
Planting of lawns with seating across the 'square' to the West of Great Arthur- plus guerilla planting facilities around the entire estate for residents use?
Solar powered pavement lighting from Goswell Road to the Social Club?

Hi Iain.  

May I ask if you are just new to this site, or are you also new to the estate?  

Am afraid to tell you that, unfortunately, you may find you don't get any answers to questions put to the Estate Office.   This site is here for discussions, and people respond to that, but sadly they refuse to, for whatever the reason may be.  

If you look at an earlier discussion you will see what I mean.

Hi

New to the site and fairly new to the estate.  The Estate Office seems to be treating me well so far- apart from the fact that I cannot find secure storage for my ancient motorcycle on the estate as no garage or store room allocations are being made until the contractor takes over the Southern end to carry out work to Great Arthur....sigh.  If you know of any spare storage either on the estate or locally, please do let me know.  Must be secure and waterproof.
