Smithfield redevelopment plans.
I, along with Bill and Christine Clifford, attended this morning`s Smithfield Market area redevelopment plan meeting at The Guildhall.
It was quite lively! Unfortunately, the COL planning committee voted IN FAVOUR of accepting the plan, so another historic part of the City of London will soon be lost forever alas!!!

Steve, the COL have the money and power to usually get their own way, unfortunately, even despite vast opposition. I say usually, but not always, as I know from personal experience.
