Having read Mr Jacks' letter, am afraid his explanation as to why no member of staff answered the out of hours phone is not acceptable, and not good enough. This is not the first time this has happened, so why were steps not taken then to ensure a repeat failure did not occur? Us residents are fed up with these 'excuses'.
What is meant by the correct telephone number was not updated? How many telephone numbers are there? This is ludicrous.

Hi Laurence - you can tell Bob Jacks I'm not so much INTERESTED in the events of yesterday's fire as WORRIED SICK about it! If the City can't even sort out the emergency numbers to ring why should we trust you with the management of our homes (or valuable financial asset if you're one of the buy-to-let johnnies taking over the Estate)!
