Phone snatch on Fann Street

I'm sure everyone is aware, but phone snatchings continue in our area. Last night at 8:50pm I witnessed a guy on a bicycle snatch a phone from a young man who was crossing Fann Street at Goswell Road. We used my phone to call the police, who declined to send an officer to take a report. (They took it over the phone.) "No access to GLERA newsletter, however: Reports by victims of crime should be reported to directly to police by the victim and not through a third party unless the victim relies on another person to assist. A crime cannot be investigated…"
