I've an unused 1L tin of Dulux Trade High Gloss 'Hollybush' paint code 14C39, which is one of the standard front door colours on the estate. I bought it yesterday from the consistantly useless City Hardware, who were unable to find the correct paint for my front door by using the British Standard code provided by the Estate Office (BS 10B23 'Pale Olive' gloss) even though Leyland at Mount Pleasant had no problem this morning.

Free to anyone who wants it.

Just noticed you have some paint, wanted to paint my front door which looks a mess after I had to repair the damage done by Inspace, also the paint has been applied so thickly and with out any preparation to the small door for the milk that it now doesnt close , is this the corect paint for the front door, hollybush? and if so can i have a loan of the paint?

I'm looking for red paint for my door in GA House assuming Holly bush in association with red berries this may be the colour.

Or is it Hollybush in reference to the green of the leaves? Regards Sue Whitehead

Hi
The listed building guidelines, the full version, not the summary, gives guidance on colours. It is available to download from the City website..
