Volunteers to lock up the Lawn and Rotunda on Weekends??
Hello everyone. I am trying to round up volunteers who would be willing to lock the gates of the Rotunda and the Basterfield Lawn on weekends when Barrie and Ian are not working. If I can get enough volunteers, it will only mean one weekend in 7 or so.
Many residents have asked that the spaces be available for resident use on weekends, and the problem we have is that Barrie and Ian don't work every weekend. As such, we thought that having resident volunteers would make it so that everyone can enjoy the lawn on the weekends.
So far, I have only had three volunteers come forward. I fear that if they have to do every 4th or 5th weekend, they may not want to be responsible anymore.
The responsibility would entail closing the gates at 8pm on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night. I will have the weekend porter/cleaner open the gates at 8am.
Please let me know if you're able to give your time.
