goldenlaneestate.org is setting up an editorial group.

The purpose of the group is to:

  • develop the site with new approaches and ideas
  • manage the site on a day-to-day basis 
  • increase use of the site by Golden Lane residents and other users
  • find ways of engaging people who are unable to attend meetings
  • offer new ways of involving people who live on the estate 

Responsibilities will include:

  • approving new members
  • moderating comments to ensure that they are in line with the guidelines of the site and its service provider
  • increasing use of the site
  • ensuring that it is accessible to the widest range of people on the estate
 
We are looking for people who can offer the following:
  • experience of writing or editing online
  • graphic design skills
  • knowledge of developing websites with a community focus

Time obligation:

  • three face-to-face meetings each year
  • regular online discussions

goldenlaneestate.org is supported by Golden Lane Residents Association.  GLERA will be represented by committee member Nick Sharp.
