"Good to see this conversation. It would be great if estate could coordinate something if possible. I am self isolating at the moment so can't help in any physical way but would like to keep connected with neighbours"

Thanks Dan
I sent an email to Wendy too about this.
Certainly of alternative places can be found then as you say the railing problem would be a lot easy to sort out.

Hi Daniel,
I just left a message for Wendy about this. It would be useful to use the space you mention. We also have a problem with theft and vandalism in those basement areas and I know some bike users who have stopped using the stores after thefts occurred. I would like to see how store security can be improved as otherwise it will be difficult to persuade residents to stop using the railings.
best wishes

Hi Daniel,
Yes, I know the area you mean. I'll talk to some of the other cyclists and put together the other bike storage problems around the estate to present to Wendy. I'll post any feedback I get on the forum

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for getting in touch. I have just added a forum topic on bicycles on the estate. The main problem people have contacted me about is inadequate storage facilities and thefts caused by this. There has also been a call to set up a bike users interest group, and I guess this can also be achieved through Paul's website. Do you have any specific bike problems?
best wishes
