I have been to the Hall to see availability for a life drawing classes to start next year.

The only day it is available for us is Tuesdays @  £25 per hour

costs will be model £?

Tutor £?

Hall £ 50 ( they dont give discount to residents which is a bit unfair)

Eisels/storage?

To make this work we will have to work out costs and overheads, and then charge a termly fee, this means setting up an account and having a small gropup of vols to manage expences.

Any offers or suggestions.

Hi there. I have checked some events run by the City of London but all the drawing classes were during the daytime so not possible if one is at work and not in the area. I wonder whether we could justify a reduction in the hall costs as this is a community event - ie the purpose is not to generate income but to cover our costs. my guesswork is that this would cost us around £120-£150 per class in total without materials. unless we can attract several people it would make it unaffordable. I am sorry I couldn't make the meeting but do let me know if anyone would like me to do any other research or costings.

Hi, did this come to anything? I would love to take place in a drawing class.

best,

Clementine

There is also a small studio on the GLE for the use of the residents. I am happy to show anyone how to use the studio. The lights / backdrops / reflectors / flash synching for general portraiture /  still life.  Get a pro looking shot of your family or friends. Even if you just want to photograph something to flog on e bay.

I've forgotten everything I learned about the dark room process but will fix up the darkroom ready for use. Anyone wanting to use the dark room will need to have paper and chemicals before they start.

Just get in touch if you are interested.
