HiTim.  Sadly, when I had a new bathroom my old handle went, along with the chain, due to them being completely clapped out!  I had a new high china cistern put in and bought a chain online.  Not exactly the same, but good enough, especially as I feel most of the original handles and cisterns may have gone by now, as mine did!! 

I also like the high level cisterns.  When Crescent House had new bathrooms installed for Decent Standards, all the high cisterns went, replaced by low ones.  Think they look horrible, as the pipe etc, remained!  Is not the same.  I love my new china high one!  Good luck with your search.  I know they have a store with old bathroom and kitchen fittings kept, but I presume you have tried that!
