Has anyone else been experiencing problems with reception for the ITV and C4, More 4, E4, etc. channels since New Year?

Great News Nathan.....hope it carries on working and you get to enjoy plenty of viewing.  No doubt we all have the faulty cabling - so unless we are super techs - we will remain with the mundane channels we can see - which are few and far between.

Yes, I'll be there!  How will they fit us all in a small room?

So will you all be at the meeting with head of housing this week ?

When is it again, I can't be bothered wading through the avalanche of junk I get from the CORP, and will the private caterers be laying on a lovely buffet as they do for the private lease holders? I usually steer clear of buffets and food left in the open, but the sandwiches at the private lease holders meeting last year I think was top notch, not your average fare, lol

This Thursday, at 7pm in the Ralph Perring  room.  Buffet???  You having a laugh!  I'm a leaseholder, and I don't recall any buffets!  I'm missing something here.

Buffet the vampire slayer.....Great stuff hahaha!  There are approx 1559 residents on GL. If they all descend on Thursdays meeting, extra chairs will be in order!!!!

Hi

Yes I'll be there.....!

Russia Today on free view breaking up, pixelating, when I plug in the 4g filter it actually makes it worse.

I can get a great picture in High Definition on free to air satellite.

I have just now sent the following e-mail to Laurence Jones. I headed it TV RECEPTION

Laurence, it is still very bad and I am getting more than fed up with it now. I know you say to call MDTV directly, but I haven’t got the number with me here. I would always prefer to e-mail anyway, however even with the managers e-mail I used before I had no response, perhaps because you and the engineer intercepted it and told the manager not to bother to respond, I am not sure. That would have not been a problem had the engineer been able to fix it.

Residents can’t keep calling on an individual basis to MDTV and get what seems to me to be a half-hearted response/effort, dealt with on an individual basis. This needs escalation with MDTV and within DCCS; I understand the engineer is here on Friday, that is another 3 nights with appalling reception, it’s not good enough. Why is he not here every day until its fixed?

What is the service MDTV are meant to provide in the contract we have with them? If the interference is this 4G thing should this not have been anticipated by the City of London and MDTV?

I look forward to hearing from you very soon.

Thanks

I think it says it all. I am not happy.

If you are not happy you could be  Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful or Doc?

Sarah you could try this email,

customer1@mdtv.co.uk

on a more serious note, euronews if missing from freesat due to weak signal, Russia today has interference on free view, I haven't gone through all the channels. At this rate the tv aerial "engineer" might have it working by next christmas, or we could nominate him for the Stevie Wonder award for tv aerial maintenance men.

Hi Sarah

Join the "Club" none of us are happy - we are fed up with MDTV and the moronic engineer - who apart from not knowing what he is doing decides to call on you "ad hoc" without making an appointment.  So will you be at the meeting this evening?

Regards

Hi Kathy.  I shall be at the meeting.  I see that despite all the assurances by Laurence Jones, at the last residents' meeting that absolutely no progress has been made on this issue.  I have sent an email, and Sarah has.  This whole matter is an absolute disgrace.

Only just seen this and to be honest I don't recall my signal being bad up until tonight. Now it's rubbish. I was watching 5 USA ( I like the crime shows) and it just keeps breaking up. See attached photo's. ITV is not so good either. BBC one is ok not that I watch it much.
