New voices, new thinking and a chance to tackle major changes in Golden Lane and the Barbican

Yesterday's election marks a significant change in the representation of Golden Lane and Barbican interests within the City of London.

This was the biggest turnout in Cripplegate to date and followed a packed and energetic Wardmote on Wednesday evening.

Sue Pearson won the largest single vote of any Common Councillor across any of the twenty five wards and the Labour Party established a significant representation for the first time in the City's history.

As our new Common Councillors prepare for office, this forum will provide a place to debate what happens next.

Fully agree.

The force has awakened, its with Susan Pearson, the largest single vote! Well done to all of us who rightly supported her.

Susana's majority has generated seismic shock waves within the complacent City councillors.

Does anyone know if any of the candidates/elected candidates are members of this forum?

I think half of those elected are members. I will invite all those electrd to join.
Just checked. Three are not members. I will invite them.

Congratulations to Sue on her record win.

Estate repairs, concrete cleaning, better use of waste land, the new school hall, use of the Basterfield Mews for access, and demolition of the disability garages.

Good luck to all our Commons.

Expectations are not high, they just need the will-power and determination to unite collectively, at least we have elected them democratically.

Certain other ward councillors remained elected, due to the power of the undemocratic business vote.
