I'm delighted , tonight I was awarded this for my garden from the worshipful company if gardeners ...
Perhaps now I may be given a tap to use to water the plants and the Estate office will be more encouraging and supportive and realise the benefits of gardening to the Estate and the Ward.
So many people stop me when I am outside and tell me how much they enjoy walking past. It's so nice to be recognised for it. But always rewarding hearing people's wonderful comments and how much enjoyment people get from just looking at planting.

See picture attached if it works ?

Well done!  I am really pleased for you.  I totally agree with you just how beneficial gardening is, not only to us, but to others.  Our 'roof garden' in Crescent House also receives lots of compliments, and residents use it to sit outside in the warmer weather.  However, I doubt if the Estate Management will recognise what all this means to us.  Sadly, instead of concentrating on serious issues facing our Estate, management are focusing on trying to greatly limit our displays, many of which have been in place for at least 20 years!  My partner has dementia, and now can only go out in a wheelchair, which we can easily use on our landing.  His one pleasure is being able to make the walk from our flat to one of the benches outside, where he can sit and enjoy the plant displays, and water features.

I hope you get your tap.  I do my watering with a flexi hose, through the kitchen window!  And, again, good for you for making a nice 'garden'.  Living in such a limited space, in a city, it is so important to make as many areas as 'green' as possible.
