Despite the rain, I think this year's event was even more successful than last year's. I spoke to many residents today and they indicate that they want to see more and more o these events. It was great to see everyone having such a great time meeting one another. One resident even said that they have noticed the community feel on the estate over the past year - which must have been the result of the first Market Day. A resident of Tudor Rose Court said to me that many residents don't realise how lucky they are to live on an Estate like ours. I think residents do. I look forward to reading the comments gathered about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Well done to all the residents and Exhibit for organising it. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The biggest merit should also go to Bev, Tim, Paul, Jane, Buffy, Peter, Anthony, and a few enthusiastic residents. Last but not least the sponsors of this event and London Metropolitan Police!
Actually, it was the City of London Police, the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and the Drugs Action Team. The two latter were the sponsors of the tables.
