Just a reminder to everyone - Karen Tarbox from the City Housing Department will be attending the above meeting to discuss the collapse of the cladding at Stanley Cohen last week, what's being done about it and what measures the City are taking to assess the safety of the areas of the Estate.

This is YOUR chance to find out what's happening and ask the questions YOU want answered. Please come along - and bring your neighbours with you!

The Ralph Perring Centre is above the sports centre - just follow the ceiling windows of the swimming pool etc. and you'll find it; its the end building.

I know the Bureau of investigative journalism have an interest in the city of london housing department, and there is an un happy lease holder on the estate who works in the guardian.

Only one unhappy leaseholder?!!  Ha!

One that works for the guardian, I know another lease holder who works in the media who is not impressed with the condition of the estate either.

Am afraid there are many residents, both leaseholders and tenants, who are not impressed.  In fact, I have not spoken to one resident who is happy with the management of the Estate.

Afraid I can't make it this evening. However if the issue needs to be raised in Common Council it will have to be through one of the elected members of course.

I think discussion with the media is a worth considering if only because trying to get anything done through the CoL is like swimming against a tide of mud. A great pity because it doesn't need to be like this.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism have done some probing and published articles around the City of London housing department finances and other authorities before.
